About Me
I am studio potter based in Melbourne, Australia. At university I studied psychology and visual arts. While working as a youth worker I started pottery classes. A connection was made. I worked for another potter for year which developed my production and workshop skills. After teaching in TAFE for 25 years and running my ceramics studio, I have since 2015 very happily worked full time in my studio.
My ceramics include tableware and one off exhibition pieces. I enjoy making well crafted tableware because it is something that is used everyday. The exhibition work allows me to work on larger pieces and to experiment with new ideas. The environments I grew up in and the landscapes I have encountered in my travels inspire me.
